The PARISMOSCOWBEIJING axis:

should it enforce international legality?

Since the United States and Great Britain are in Iraq to destroy "the weapons of mass destruction" that threaten these two nations, they now have to prove that this threat really did exist by producing exhibits as evidence. If the USA and Great Britain put an early end to the UN weapons inspectors’ mission, it was because they were confident the UN would find nothing to provide justification for war.

Such proof is all the more unlikely to come to light as it is disappearing under the present bombardments. Why is this so? Because American bombs are intelligent in that they are capable of making something that never existed disappear. From this angle alone, the war in Iraq is stripped of every iota of justification and itself constitutes a crime against humanity!

There’s substance for rekindling debate on the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and the threat such weapons represent for the USA. Incidentally, the one and only credible and irrefutable terrorist threat of mass destruction today stems from the USA, notably in the form of cruise missiles and B 52s, which the UN is going to have to prohibit, because they represent a threat against humanity and the order of international law.

This barbaric attack, devoid of any legality whatsoever and perpetrated by the United States and Great Britain against an innocent, defenceless population with no real protection, raises the painful issue of the legal methods of enforcing International Law and of preserving world peace between different peoples.

The bloodthirsty determination of two assassins (George W. Bush and Tony Blair) to slaughter 20 million Iraqis, without a shred of proof of the slightest threat, gives justification for questioning whether it would be legitimate – with or without a UN resolution – to envisage, here and now and in return, reducing 20 million British and American people to ashes by dropping a 4 megaton thermonuclear bomb on both London and New York.

Now there’s an argument that should incite 300 million British and American citizens to go out on general and unlimited strike in order to overthrow their criminal governments, put an end to the genocide of the Iraqi people and avoid a Third World War, in which Europe will be the first victim.

George W. Bush and Tony Blair are both war criminals that should appear before an International Court Martial under the UN’s auspices.
